Kyle Downes and Jay Nemeyer have known each other for a while. Kyle engineered Jay's first solo EP in 2008, and it's not an exaggeration to say that they've worked on hundreds of songs together since then. In 2019, they began to focus their creative energy on songwriting and producing with other artists. Their unique approach is focused on fostering an honest, open, and collaborative environment, where experimentation can occur without feeling like you're "under the gun". The Sunday Coffee studio is equipped with a small drum room, a rack of guitars and basses, amplifiers, boutique outboard gear, dozens of pedals, an assortment of microphones, and several synthesizers.
